On Saturday August 13th Block Bikes is hosting a Bike Rally to benefit Lisa Collins who had an unfortunate accident and was hit by a distracted driver on the Ave L freeway overpass. Lisa is recovering from massive head trauma and is at Kindred Healthcare in West Covina. Her family is incurring massive debt and we will do whatever we can to help.

The Rally will take place at American Heroes Park (701 W Kettering Ave) in Downtown Lancaster (north of Lancaster BLVD - cross street Elm). Sign ups will be from 1:00pm to 1:45pm and the RALLY will begin promptly at 2:00pm. Cost will be $20 per team of 2 and ALL proceeds will go to Lisa Collins.

The RALLY will consist of 2 person teams. Each team will travel together and must be in sight of each other at all times while riding. The teams will hit 5 checkpoints in Lancaster and must be back in less than 2 hours. Each Team will pick up an item at each check point and proceed to the next. There will be prizes for teams based on performances. This is a fun event and not a "race". You must follow all traffic laws and failure to do so is disqualification. We want to be fast and efficient but not dangerous. We invite all calibers of riders to participate. HELMETS ARE MANDATORY!!!
